Three men have been killed and one critically injured after a car was involved in a crash near the Brent Cross shopping centre in north London.
Officers were called to reports of a car crash at Staples Corner retail park at 11.26pm on Sunday, the Metropolitan Police said.
They found five men, believed to be in their early 20s.
Three were pronounced dead at the scene, while two were taken to hospital.
Of those, one is in a critical condition, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Met officers attended along with London Fire Brigade (LFB), London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
It is not believed that any other vehicle was involved, the force added.
LFB said the car collided with a pedestrian overbridge and crashed near the roundabout at Staples Corner West
Fire crews and at least a dozen police officers remain at the scene of the crash.
Police tape is blocking off access to both the overpass footpath and an exit off the roundabout on to Edgware Road.
A slip road from the A5 has also been blocked off.
